You Can Still Use Your Voice…By the Pen!
As many of you know from our last post, and no doubt from other sources, you had a great place to share your stories yesterday during testimony for wildfire survivors, part of Oregon’s House Committee on Fire Recovery.
It was a very moving hearing.
But if you did miss out, don’t worry…you can still get your voice out.
CRT spoke with Laura Kentnesse, who is an LPRO Analyst and clearly on task.
She told us:
“Wildfire survivors are welcome to submit their stories in writing through Sunday evening, February 20th. Our office will then make sure those stories are posted on the legislative website associated with last night’s hearing, and will make sure that all of the legislators on the committee have access to the stories.”
Here are the deets:
Please send to the committee’s email address at: hwrec.exhibits@oregonlegislature.gov.
There you have it! Get your voice in! As CRT knows, and shows, and Dr. Seuss can verify, every voice in Who-Ville counts!
